CAROLINA MEATBALLS come from the south, as the name suggests from Carolina, and are turkey meatballs enriched with a peanut butter sauce.
A perfect apettizer!
I love peanut butter and I think that the mix turkey + peanut butter + fig compost is faboulous.
Try it, it’s a perfect option for a party buffet or just for a original sank!

- 0.9 libbrepeanuts butter
- 1teaspoon fig compote
- 2spoons Worchesterhire sauce
- 1lemon (juice)
- 1teaspoon powdered ginger
- q.b.salt and pepper
Mix the peanut butter with the fig compote, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, ginger and pepper.
Add half of the mixture to the ground turkey, with the finely chopped onions, parsley, egg and salt.
Form the meatballs.
Bake in the oven at 330 F for 15 minutes.
Brush them with the remaining sauce and cook in the oven for another 8 minutes.
Decorate with parsley.
