- 400 g sardines
- oregano
- lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt

Baked sardines with oregano and lemon, easy and quick to prepare, specially if you buy already cleaned sardines.
Otherwise, cut the fish head and remove the entrails. Wash them well and let them drain.
Season sardines with salt, two pinches of oregano and some lemon juice (about 1 tablespoon).
Place the sardines on a baking dish you have sprinkled with olive oil.
Drizzle some olive oil on the sardines .
Bake in preheated oven, 180° C -360° F, for about 15 minutes.
