This recipe is tipical of the region from where I come from, so I had to post it in my blog! I don’t really know if this kind of vegetables is easy or not to find everywhere, but if you find it i suggest to try my recipe of pasta with turnip tops!
Ingredients: for 2
- 150 gr pasta
- 100 turnip tops
- 1 tomato
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- oil
- red pepper
Let’s do it!
Let’s start cooking pasta in the usual way, meanwhile you have to clean turnips keeping just the turnip tops.
In a small pot you have to sauté the clove of garlic in few oil and the tomato cutted, until it will become brown.
Put the turnip tops in the same water where you are cooking pasta just tre minutes before your pasta will be ready; after that drain it and put both in the pot with garlic and tomato, finally add some red pepper.
Your pasta with turnip tops is ready to be eaten, if you want you can add in your dish other red pepper, in my country this is one of the most loved dishes!
