Apple Cake

Hi guys, I’ve been looking for the perfect Apple Cake recipe for a long time and now I think I’ve found the exact doses of ingredients and combination of flavors  that make this cake so special. Actually I don’t like too much apples, in particular their texture but when I put them in a cake and mix them with cinnamon I literally go mad, they become so soft, sweet….delicious!

No butter need and I think this is a great thing, a healthy way to eat sweets, not too many regrets for a good silhouette.

Apple Cake

Ingredients:

3 eggs

100 g brown sugar

1 teaspoon honey

220 g flour

1 little glass of seeds oil

1 little glass of milk

1 baking soda teaspoon

3 apples

2/3 teaspoon  cinnamon powder

1 lemon

Method:

-Peel the apples and cut slices from 2 of them. Put them in a bowl and flavor with the juice of 1/2 lemon and the cinnamon powder then let them rest in the fridge while you’re making the dough.

-Cut the third apple into pieces and cook it in a small pot at low heat, with few drops of lemon juice, a little glass of milk and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. When it gets soft, squash the apple by using a fork till you obtain a creamy texture then let it rest till it’s cool.

-Now take a bowl and beat the eggs with the brown sugar, then add the creamy apple and the flour sifted with baking soda. Mix the ingredients, finally add the seeds oil and continue mixing .

-At this point you can add half of the apple slices to the dough. Stir the ingredients with a spoon and pour the dough in an oven pan which you first greased and floured then Cover the dough’s surface with the rest of apple slices.

-Cook at 180°C for about 45-50 minutes.

-Once the cake gets cool , sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve it with a glass of milk ora cup of tea.
