Gluten-free bread with elderflower syrup

The smell of homemade bread is special. This recipe is gluten free and the elderflower syrup gives to the dough a delicate flavour. This bread is pefect both for a sweet breakfast and a savory snack.

Ingredients

  • 500 g gluten-free mix (e.g. Schär)

  • 430 ml diluted elderflower syrup

  • 30 g olive oil

  • 6 g salt

  • 10 g dry yeast

Method

  • In a mixer with a dough hook mix syrup, oil and salt.
  • Add the flour mix and then the dry yeast,
  • Knead the dough for 2 minutes and a half.
  • Butter a 30 cm baking casserole and put the dough in it.
  • Wrap the casserole with clingfilm and let rise for 45 minutes.
  • Put a container of water (100ml) in the oven and preheat to 200°C.
  • Bake the bread for 50 minutes.
