Hi everyone! let’s leave for a trip in the Far East and cook the delicious Japanese Curry Rice!
I tasted it in Japan and it was absolutely amazing ^-^ gnammm
So bring with you a box of Curry Roux which you can find in a japanese/ korean food shop. I bought this one, that is not too spicy:
And let’s start cooking!
Japanese Curry Rice
Ingredients for 6 people:
750 g beef lean meat
3 carrots
1 big onion
some little white onions
3 potatoes
1.5 lt water
oil
hot pepper
6 parts of the curry roux
Japanese rice ( but i had only pilaf..it’s good yet 🙂 )
Method:
Put on heat chopped carrots, potatoes and onions into a big pot with oil:
Then cut beef meat and put it together with the other ingredients:
Cook until the meat is no longer pink, then add the water and cover. When water will be boiling , uncover and continue to cook till all ingredients are soft. Then, low heat, add the 6 parts of curry roux and melt it. Add some hot pepper if you prefer .
Continue to cook low heat until soup thickens. Then you can serve the dish with boiled rice 🙂
