Baked Oats is a filling and utterly yummy breakfast, the whole dish is 1/2 syn per person, that if you cook it with the fruit inside (as you might know, cooked fruit has a syn value – but if you bake it without the fruit and have it fresh with it, Baked Oats id syn free!
If your are not on Slimming World, this is a wonderful dish anyway, so give it a try!
Baked Oats, Ingredients for 1 person
- 35g plain porridge oats
- 4 tbsp sweetener
- 1 small egg
- 1 pot of vanilla Müller Light
- the zest of a lemon
- 50g raspberries
Method
Preheat your oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6.
Mix the porridge, sweetener, egg, 1/2 of the yogurt, zest of 1 lemon and raspberries in a bowl and stir well.
Transfer the mixture to a small oven-proof dish and bake in the oven for 35 minutes, or until nice and golden.
Serve with the remaining yogurt and lots of Speed Fruits such as strawberries, chopped apples, apricots and so on.
Add 6 syns if not using porridge oats (unflavoured) as a Healthy Extra B
