Preparing the home-made mint syrup is really easy: no artificial flavors or colors, just three ingredients. This mint syrup dosen’t need to be diluted before serving.
25 g fresh mint leaves
100 g sugar
1 liter water
- In a pot bring the water to boil, in the meantime wash the mint leaves.
- When the water reaches the boil, turn of the stove and add the mint and the sugar.
- Close with a lid and leave it overnight. Strain the syrup.
The syrup may be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days, or frozen for a short time.
