Melt butter in a pan and saute finely chopped onion.
Add the zucchini, cut into thin round slices.
Add salt and pepper and cook for about 10 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally.
Beat the eggs in a bowl, pour the milk and beat well.
Add grated gruyere cheese, salt and pepper and stir.
Add the zucchini and stir the mixture well.
Take a round baking pan, 28 cm diameter, and unroll the pastry and arrange it on the pan, making sure that the sides of the pan are covered too.
Pour the zucchini mixture into the pan.
Bake, in a preheated oven, 200 °C (392° F), for 20 minutes. Cook for 10 more minutes at 180° C (356° F).
Turn off the oven, open the door and let the tart stand for a few minutes.
Let the tart cool, remove from the pan and place on a serving dish, slightly more wide than the diameter of the tart.
Serve the zucchini and cheese puff tart warm or cold!
