Potatoes au gratin is a side dish, easy to prepare, very tasty, flavored with two different kind of cheese. By boiling the potatoes, cut into slices, you can prepare this dish in less time.
Potatoes au gratin

Ingredients

- 1 kg potatoes
- 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated asiago cheese
- olive oil
- breadcrumbs
- salt, pepper

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 4 slices.
Bring salted water to a boil, add the potatoes and let boil until they are cooked.
Do not let the potatoes boil longer than necessary, otherwise they will get in small pieces.
Drain the potatoes, pour some olive on a baking sheet and arrange the potato slices. Add salt if needed and a sprinkling of pepper.
Sprinkle the parmesan and asiago cheese and some breadcrumbs over the potatoes. Add a drizzle of olive oil.
To avoid that the potatoes get too dry, I also add some of the water I used to cook the potatoes. About 4-5 tablespoons.
Bake in preheated oven at 200° C (400° F), grill mode, for about ten minutes, until potatoes are golden.
Serve potatoes au gratin hot!
