Any ideas about your lunch? I’ll give you a tip. I’ll teach you how to prepare a really easy dish which won’t take more than 15 minutes: spaghetti with tuna and capers. Definitely a tasty dish!!!
RICETTA IN ITALIANO QUI
SPAGHETTI with TUNA and CAPERS
INGREDIENTS (for 4 people)
- 350 g spaghetti
- 160 g tuna in olive oil
- 1 table spoon of capers in salt
- 3 anchovy fillets in oil
- some dried tomatoes in oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- extra virgin olive oil
Wash parsley, dry and mince it finely. Put aside.
Drain tuna and break it up with a fork.
Drain the dried tomatoes and chop them roughly.
Rinse the capers with abundant cold water, dry and mince them roughly.
In a large non-stick pan heat 3 table spoons extra virgin olive oil, add the minced garlic and saute, then add the anchovy fillets.
Melt the anchovy fillets pressing them with a spoon.
Then, add the capers, the dried tomatoes and the parsley.
Cook over a low heat for some minutes stirring frequently, then add the tuna.
Season to taste with salt and cook for some more minutes.
Meanwhile take a pot, fill it with water and put it on the stove, heat it until it boils. Put a lid on to make it boil faster. When the water boils, add a generous pinch of salt.
Then put the spaghetti in the water and cook as indicated on the package.
Strain the pasta out of the water and pour it in the pan mixing it with all the other ingredients. Add one or two tablespoons of cooking water if necessary.
Serve your spaghetti with tuna and capers immediately.
