Hello! How many of you love pistachio? We usually use it in sweets but I adore pistachio in pasta dishes or meat ones too. I wanted try to experiment a new healthy sauce for my beloved pasta so here is the recipe. Follow step by step my directions and the result will surprise you. I recommend you to use fresh basil in order to have a good meal.

Ingredients:
- 160 grams of whole wheat pasta fettuccine
- 50 grams of shelled pistachios
- 1 cup of basil
- 3 spoons of biological extra-virgin oil
- salt
- 2 spoons of grated cheese
Directions:
- Put all ingredients in a blender
- Cook fettuccine in salty boiling water (about 8 minutes)
- Pour the sauce in a frying-pan and cook for 1 minute
- Once pasta is ready drain it
- Pour it in the frying pan and cook one minute more with sauce
- Serve it and add extra grated cheese if you like.
