- 1.2 kgpollo
- 3cipolle rosse di Tropea
- 750 gbirra
- q.b.olio extravergine d’oliva
- q.b.sale
- 3 fogliealloro
- 3 ramettirosmarino
- q.b.miele
- q.b.pepe
Preparazione
In una padella antiaderente capiente scaldare l’olio, Inserite il pollo e rosolare da tutti i lati.
Trascorso il tempo di cottura, togliete il pollo e trasferitela in un piatto.
Inserite nella padella, le cipolle tagliate a fette sottili, il rosmarino e l’alloro, cuocere per 10 minuti, sfumate con metà birra, fate evaporare.
Inserite il pollo, il sale, il pepe e la restante birra, cuocete con coperchio a fuoco basso per 30 minuti.
Trascorsi i 30 minuti, spennate il pollo con il miele, cuocere a fiamma alta per 8 minuti in modo da far glassare bene il tutto.
Trasferite subun piatto da portata e servite.

1.2 kg chicken
3 red Tropea onions
750 g beer
q.s. extra virgin olive oil
q.s. salt
3 bay leaves
3 sprigs of rosemary
q.s. honey
Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan, add the chicken and brown on all sides.
After the cooking time has elapsed, remove the chicken and transfer it to a plate.
Place the thinly sliced onions, rosemary and bay leaf in the pan, cook for 10 minutes, blend with half the beer, let it evaporate.
Add the chicken, salt, pepper and the remaining beer, cook with a lid on low heat for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, pluck the chicken with honey, cook over high heat for 8 minutes in order to glaze everything well.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
