600 ml milk
250 ml cream
250 g sugar
blueberries (fresh or frozen)
In a saucepan, pour in milk, cream and sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring with a whisk.
Bring the mixture almost to reach the boil, then turn off the gas. Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature, then put it in the refrigerator.
Leave the mixture in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning, take it out and put the cream into the ice cream maker.
When the ice cream begins to thicken, pour the blueberries and proceed until the ice cream is ready. My ice cream maker took about 40 minutes to make a perfect blueberry ice cream.
