Hi everyone! Today we’re gonna make “rainbow pasta”. This is an easy and quick recipe, perfect to make during these summer days also as cold dish.

Ingredients (5-6 people):

1 red pepper

1 yello pepper

200 g cheek lard (or simply bacon)

150 g pitted olives

pasta  ( “farfalle” in the picture)

oil

salt

Method:

1-Wash peppers and cut them into little pieces. Flavor with oil and salt and cook them in a pan, covered, for 10 minutes at low heat.

_DSC04902-Add the cheek lard and continue cooking for more 5 minutes, still covered with a lid.

_DSC04923-Now add the olives, cut in little pieces. Cook for 5 minutes, uncovered.

4-Take the pepper sauce off the heat and start boilinig water and salt. When it’s boiling add pasta and let it cook until just firm. Then melt it together with the other ingredients in the pan at cook it for more 2 minutes.
