Hi guys! Here it is the recipe for a really yummy side dish: Gricia Potatoes!
Here in Rome we usually make “Pasta alla Gricia”; yesterday i tried to make the same recipe adapting it to a side dish.
Let’s begin!

Gricia Potatoes
Ingredients (for 2 people):
6 new potatoes
50 g bacon
Grated pecorino (cheese) (1 spoon)
Pepper
Oil (1 spoon)
Salt
Method:
1-Wash potatoes and cut them into slices of 3-4mm thickness. Put them into a pan with oil and salt and let them cook for about 5 minutes uncovered, then flavor with pepper and cook for more 5 min.
2-Now add bacon, cover the pan with a lid and cook at low heat till the potatoes are soft.
Finally, when the potatoes got soft, add grated pecorino and stir with a spoon.
And your potatoes are ready to be eaten:
