Pizza dough without yeast is a very light alternative to the traditional dough. In this dough the yeast is replaced with baking soda. The result is a more digestible dough very quick to prepare. It rises directly in the oven and there is no need to let it rest before the cooking. Home made pizza ready in less then 30 minutes? Yes, it’s possible! 😀

– 450 g flour;
– 10 g baking soda;
– 6 g salt;
– 15 ml extra virgin olive oil;
– 200 ml water
Mix the flour, the baking soda and the salt in a bowl . Add the extra virgin olive oil and the water. Then knead vigorously all the ingredients until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a greaseproof paper and stuff it with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, olive oil and other ingredients according to your taste. Then bake it in the oven at 180 C for about 20 minutes. And then… enjoy!!
Pizza dough without yeast does not have the texture and softness of the traditional dough with natural yeast, but it is perfect for those allergic to yeast, or those who have just a little time to spend in the kitchen. The flavor and the final results are still great and will amaze you. Try this dough, and you will feel absolutely not stuffed after eating it, even if you eat a lot.
