Sicilian Tangerines Marmalade


  • Tangerines 1 kg
  • Sugar 400 gr
  • Preparation for about 1 kg of Sicilian tangerines jam


Wash the Sicilian tangerines by removing the stalk and in the meantime heat in a small pan of water and when it starts to boil pour the tangerines and boil for about 5-6 minutes.

Drain the blanched tangerines and removing all the seeds you find inside and blend them all in a mixer.

Once blended, put the mixture in a saucepan and slowly add the sugar, always remember to mix it continuously.

The mixture should cook for about 50 minutes at a maximum temperature of 108 ° C which, once reached, will determine the cooking of the mixture, turn off the heat and blend it all with an immersion blender.

Pour the Sicilian Tangerines jam into sterile jars and let it cool by closing the jars tightly and letting them cool upside down.

Once cooled, your tangerines jam is ready to be enjoyed.
